Ghana Center Amida Brimah was at fault for giving the ball away way too many times in Austin Sours loss to Texas Legends in the NBA Gatorade (G) League in the past weekend.
However, in his second game with the Spurs this season, Brimah took care of the ball better by committing one turnover in Spurs 111-104 win over Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
The win is Spurs second in three games thus far in the campaign and comes as a major boost to the former University of Connecticut Captain.
Aside cutting down his profligacy, Amida produced four points, three rebounds and an assist in 10 minutes on the floor.
He did however, fall prey to foul trouble as he quickly racked up five in his brief appearance; the 6 foot 11 inch Center who is well noted for his shot blocking ability ended the contest without registering one.
The Tudu-born athletic rim protector has the chance to play his way to an NBA roster as the season progress; Austin Spurs play Reno Big Horns on Friday, November 10 away from home.
