Rangers beat Spartans (green) in an earlier encounter.
Galaxy (blue) clinched the win over brothers Spartans.

Prisons (orange) in action against Spartans.
There is little time for Spartans to salvage its season in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II campaign.

With just two games left to play, Spartans have just one win in ten appearances this season with the Tudu based side failing to add to its win share.

Later tonight, Spartans will be up against Novas Academy at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu after Reformers of Prisons take on Dunk Knights inthe opening game.

The Prisons tie tips off at 17:00 GMT with Reformers eyeing the division’s summit against the lowly ranked Dunk Knights.

Spartans opponent, Novas Academy has four wins in ten games but lost 52-63 to Navy Warriors in its last matchup in the campaign.

Despite possessing a wealth of young talent including former Sprite Ball Championship winner Raymond Affram, Spartans impressive play through out the campaign has largely been undone by close losses.

Against a fairly young side in Novas, Spartans have a big chance to clinch its second win in this year’s competition before its final encounter.
