Point Guard Derrick White will miss Austin Spurs tie tonight against Texas Legends but Ghana Center Amida Brimah is primed to feature in the Gatorade League.
The playmaker has fractured his wrist and has been subsequently ruled out indefinitely this season after only two games including Austin Spurs win over Salt Lake Stars.
He injured his wrist in Austin Spurs 119-123 loss to Texas Legends over the weekend; Center Davis Bertans led the team in scoring with 27 points.
White was drafted from University of Colorado after a four year stint in College by San Antonio Spurs with the 29th pick in this year’s NBA Draft.
His absence leaves Austin short on Guards following the call up of veteran Tony Parker to San Antonio Spurs following his post surgery workout with the team early this month.
The four time NBA Champion worked out with the G-League side as he gets back in shape from a surgery to repair his injured quadriceps suffered in last season’s playoffs.
However, Brimah is set to feature in the game after registering four points and nine rebounds against Texas Legends.
