Ghana Police leads a tough battle for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II summit prior to the last rounds of the 2017 season.

The team leads the division with 19 points tied with Reformers of Prisons; however, Police’s superior goal difference puts the team ahead.

Third placed Panthers have 18 points and play its final game of the season on Friday November 17 against Junior Reformers.

Only the top three teams make it to the elite division, a win is crucial to Panthers fortunes since it has featured in a game ore than the remaining contenders.

An interesting tie takes place after Panthers match as in form Navy Warriors play Junior Rangers who are trekking on a similar patch of form.

With two games remaining and within striking distance of clinching a spot in Division I, fourth placed Warriors and fifth placed Rangers are lined up for a crucial week.

Bottom ranked teams Dunk Knights and Spartans get the chance to escape from the basement with ties lined up against Reformers of Prisons and Novas Academy respectively. Below is the breakdown of the standings:
