Ghana Police are back to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division Summit after clinching its ninth win of the season.

The team beat Akatsi Rifles 60-51 in the last game of the latest round of games in the division played out at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The result gives Police 19 points to tie Reformers of Prisons mark but a superior goal difference puts the former in the driver’s seat.

Both teams have the same wins heading to the campaign’s home straight with two games remaining on the calendar.

Junior Rangers beat Tudu Galaxy 48-43 to move into fifth place in the standings while Galaxy continues to hover around the middle positions in seventh place.

Panthers sensational run in the division has the veteran side in third place; after beating Police to end the latter’s unbeaten run in the season, Panthers topped it by clinching a 50-27 win over CYO on Friday.

DCD Aspirants second win this season moves them up to ninth; prior to its win over Spartans, Aspirants ranked 11th in the standings.
