Ghana Center Amida Brimah was not on the floor when his side Austin Spurs trounced Salt Lake City Stars 131-88 in the opening game of the 2017-2018 Gatorade (G) League.
The dominant win was wrapped up long before the contest came to an end early this morning at the H-E-B Center.
Brimah was on the roster for the game but did not participate in the contest spending the entire duration of the game on the bench and watched on as his teammates run out to a big win.
The Spurs led by as many as 16 points in the first half and increased its lead to 30 at the end of the third quarter before ending the tie with a 43 point difference.
Olivier Hanlan topped scored in the game 25 points; he registered five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Eric Griffin paced the Stars in scoring with 19 points and added nine rebounds; he missed out on a double-double.
Spurs take on Texans Legends in the next game.
