Rifles (black) lost for the third time this season to Panthers.
Panthers Basketball Club will be in action tonight in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu against Spartans.

The team will be involved in one of two fixtures scheduled for the round in the ongoing competition; Junior Reformers and Junior Rangers will be in action in the opening game scheduled to tipoff at 17:00 GMT.

For Panthers, tonight’s tie presents a chance to recover from a 46-53 loss to Navy Warriors in the last round with Warriors clinching its second win of the season.

Panthers went into the fixture as overwhelming favorites considering the veteran side ranked sixth in the standings with three wins in four games while Warriors had recorded just a win all season.

Against young side Spartans, Panthers can fancy its chances of a win should the team stave off Spartans hunger for a second straight win after beating Dunk Knights over the past weekend.

Having recorded its first win in five games played this season, Tudu-based side Spartans will be hoping for a repeat end result tonight.
