Police.
CYO (yellow) topped Novas in a previous game.
Rifles (black) lost for the third time this season to Panthers.

Rifles (black) against Junior Reformers.
Two of the top three teams in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II, CYO and Ghana Police will be in action later tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The fixture is the biggest of six ties lined up to take place this week in the division with games set to be played on Friday September 29 and Saturday September 30.

Police’ game against CYO tips off at 17:00 GMT and will be followed by Akatsi Rifles fixture against Navy Warriors in the final game.

CYO are second in the standings with Police a spot behind in third place. However, CYO have played a game more than Police after the latter was inactive in the last round of league ties.

Both teams are yet to lose a game this season with CYO winning five games and Police winning all four games played; CYO beat high flying Junior Rangers 57-46 in its last game.

A win for Police gets them back to the league’s summit before current leaders Reformers of Prisons play Novas Academy on Saturday in a game Reformers are big favorites to win.
