Prisons (orange) won the second game on the night.

CYO (yellow) topped Novas in a previous game.

The latest round of the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season will be played out this week at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Later tonight, a mouth watering encounter between Ghana Police and CYO tips off at 17:00 GMT with both teams occupying top spots in the standings.

CYO sits second in the division after winning all five fixtures while Police lie third with eight points recording four wins in as many games.

Lowly ranked Akatsi Rifles will have to dig deep to clinch its maiden win of the season as it faces the rejuvenated Navy Warriors immediately after.

After starting the season poorly, Warriors have been in good form winning two straight games against Dunk Knights and Panthers. Rifles are winless this season.

On Friday September 29, the battle of Junior sides between Junior Reformers and Junior Rangers tips off first before Panthers play against Spartans.

The final pair of games will be played on Saturday September 30 as Novas Academy will be in action against current division leaders Reformers of Prisons in the opening game before DCD Aspirants play Knights.

Neither Aspirants nor Knights have won a game in the ongoing campaign as both teams occupy two of the last three spots in the 13 team standings.
