DCD Aspirants have recorded back to back losses to teams named Reformers in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.

DCD lost its fifth game of the season to Reformers of Prisons in the last round of games in this week’s league ties falling 37-64 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The games played immediately Spartans registered its first win of the season by piping Dunks Knights 58-57 in the opening game.

However, Aspirants latest loss comes exactly a week after losing 92-80 to Junior Reformers at the same venue; that loss was DCD’s fourth of the season.

Despite being one of the most exciting teams in Accra’s minor league, Aspirants have struggled to clinch wins to move up the standings.

The team sits 10th in the 13 team standings with five points ahead of fellow winless teams in the division, Akatsi Rifles and Dunks Knights.

Conversely, the team’s ranking is because the Aspirants have featured in more games than the teams ranked below.
