Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II outfit Akatsi Rifles will be seeking for its first win of the 2017 season when it takes on Tudu Galaxy tonight.
The tie is the first of two fixtures planned to be played out at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, Accra at 17:00 GMT.
The second game, which takes place immediately after the first, features Junior Rangers against CYO; both teams are in the top half of the 13 team standings with CYO in second place and Rangers in seventh place.
CYO is yet to lose a game in four games played but that is not the case for Rifles who have three games played this season.
Lack of team cohesion has been one of the main reason pointed out by Rifles Captain Cecil Attipoe in a chat with Basketballghana.com but the team needs to come together quickly to avoid falling too far behind the rest of the field.
However, clinching that maiden win looks to be a tough task since Galaxy has been in good form this season currently occupying sixth place in teh standings.
