The reports come at a time word made rounds of an October start date. This means teams will have to get ready to compete this weekend with ties slated to be honored at Tema’s Community 4 Court.
The regular season has concluded with four teams from Groups A and B qualifying to the playoffs respectively including 2016 Champions Nungua Coldstore.
The defending champions topped Group A ahead of Ghana Police, Ashaiman Lions and Junior Reformers. For Group B, Tema Communities 2 and 4, Ghana Navy and Tema Heat made it out.
The first round of games will be played between the top seeds and fourth seeds and second seed and third seed in the group.
This means Coldstore will be in action against Junior Reformers while Police takes on 2016 finalist Ashaiman Lions in Group A.
Community will be up against Navy and Community 2 battles with Tema Heat for a spot in the group final game; all games in the postseason will be played in the best of three series.
The league board is yet to release the schedule for the games.
