Six teams have ended up on the wrong side of standings in Group A and Group B in this year’s regular season campaign.
Rangers and Tema Communities 12 and 5 ranked outside the top four seeds to be eligible to make the playoffs in Group A.
In Group B, Rifles, Ashaiman Warriors and Don Bosco Giants ranked fifth, sixth and seventh in the standings with Tema Community 4 leading the way.
This playoffs commence on Sunday September 24 at Tema’s Community 4 Court with games set to be played in a best of three series.
Winners of the first round will compete in the Group Finals before winners of the respective finals face off in the grand finale.
Defending champions and Group A first seed Nungua Coldstore takes on fourth seed Junior Reformers and second seed Ashaiman Lions play third seed Ghana Police.
Group B winners Tema Community 4 will be up against Ghana Navy with Tema Heat taking on Community 2.
