Junior Reformers know the team they will be up against in the first round of the 2017 Tema Basketball League playoffs.
The young side will be up against Nungua Coldstore in what is likely a best of three series in the first round of the postseason.
Coldstore won the 2016 title courtesy a 2-0 Finals Series win over Ashaiman Lions; Junior Reformers did not compete in last year’s competition.
However, the fourth placed team in Group A is bound to face the defending champs since Nungua has sealed its spot at the summit of the group heading to this weekend’s round of games.
Coldstore, thanks to a 47-39 win over Ghana Police in its last regular season tie, has 25 points after suffering a shock loss to Junior Reformers.
The team’s point tally is three ahead of closest rival Police and four ahead of Lions. This means a win for Police and Ashaiman’s final game wont have any bearing on the playoff format where the fourth seed meets the first seed and second seed take on the third seed.
Police plays Ashaiman on Sunday September 17.
