Newly elected executives of the Accra Basketball League will strive to improve the league according to new General Secretary Marcel Avadu.
He made the statement after making an appearance on highly rated basketball television show “Courtside” following the elections a few days earlier.
Joining Election top official Alexander Tindani on set with Host Yaw Sakyi Afari, the former player turned administrator was emphatic on what is expected of the new regime.
“We are here to improve the league further” Avadu said in his brief chat with the 2017 Exclusive Man of the Year Sports Category Award winner.
Avadu joins Chairman Andrew Okoe Bulley, Vice Chairman Andrew Ackah and Organizing Secretary Emmanuel Quaye on the new look board.
The new officials officially commence work ahead of the next basketball calendar next year but are expected to have several sit down meetings with members of the old regime to make the transition smooth.
Avadu is a long time administrator for Fire Service teams in the league and is a trained Accountant.
