Ghana Navy Coach, Interim Organizer of Accra Basketball League (ABL) and Coordinator of this year’s ABL elections Alexander Tindani has called on incoming executives to develop the league’s financial base.
The astute trainer made the call earlier today as elections for new executives take place at the Lebanon House Forecourt in Tudu.
Speaking exclusively to Basketballghana.com, he stated his readiness to work with new executives but lamented the league’s woeful finances which he hopes will be solved.
“I expect that the coming executives will be able to bring corporate organizations by way of sponsorship to develop the game from the junior level to the senior level in the country” he said.
The new executive board will be chaired by Andrew Bulley Okoe who is running unopposed for the vacant Chairman position veteran administrator Benjamin Baafi left behind following his demise.
However, multiple people are running for other positions including the Vice Chairman role where Michael Ackah and Aurora Toppar are contested the seat.
Games in the ABL Men’s Division II will be played after results are declared; home side Tudu Galaxy open the round with a tie against Dunks Knight and DC Aspirants play CYO immediately after.
