Candidates interested in running for positions in the upcoming Accra Basketball League (ABL) Executive elections have picked up forms.
Basketballghana.com can confirm this latest happening with days leading up to the grand event which has the potential to change the landscape of basketball in the Ghana’s elite club basketball competition.
Positions up for grabs in the elections include Secretary General, Organizing Secretary and Treasury as well as the Chairman and Vice Chairman slots.
The grand event takes place at the Lebanon House forecourt in Tudu on Friday September 8; polls will be open from 8:00 GMT to 16:00 GMT.
Information reaching Ghana’s leading basketball portal indicate Tema Youth Coach Emmanuel Quaye has submitted his form to run for Organizing Secretary.
Andrews Ayitey Bulley has submitted his name for the Chairman position as he seeks to replace former lead man Benjamin Baafi.
Baafi passed away earlier this year after a long battle with illness; the experienced administrator doubled as Greater Accra Region’s Head.
Aurora Commodore-Toppar has submitted her form to run for the Vice Chairman position; should she be successful, she will replace Kofi Amanyor.
