Braves of Customs Male and Female Teams have topped standings in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I and Female Divisions respectively.

Both teams came out on top following the closure of the regular seasons; the male division’s regular season ended weeks ago with games in the female division ending on Thursday August 30.

Customs lost just once all season following a 78-84 to bitter rival Tema Youth en route to finishing on top of the seven team standings in the male division.

Its female side lost a couple more in the five team division but recovered well to clinch the top position heading to the postseason.

Braves Men finished the season ahead of Tema Youth, Tudu Magic and Fire Service; the likes of DC dynamics and Ghana Navy missed out on progressing to the postseason.

Braves female side beat out competition from Ghana Navy, Tudu Galaxy and Fire Service to the summit of the standings.

The league’s executive board is yet to officially announce the start date for the postseason.
