The 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division regular season has come to a close following the conclusion of the final round of games earlier in the week.
Defending Champions Braves of Customs sits at the summit of the standings with 29 points after recording 13 wins in 16 games.
Customs stuttered at the beginning of the season but recovered well to cruise through the season; the team will hope for a better start in the postseason which features the four top teams in the recently concluded game.
Ghana Navy ended the season on a high note courtesy a 45-30 win over third placed Tudu Galaxy to maintain its spot in second place.
The Mariners ended the season three points behind Braves and looks like a dark horse contender in the playoffs.
Fire Service’ big win over University of Ghana-UG (69-13) means the team ends the season a point behind Galaxy’s tally for the campaign-24.
UG ranked bottom of the standings and misses out on the postseason. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
