Tudu Magic plays Tema Youth for the second time this season in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I on Wednesday May 31 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The midweek matchup pits high flying Tema (won six in seven games) against home side Magic (won three in six games) in a match of huge importance to postseason ramifications.
However, Magic heads into the game with an aim to avoid losing twice to the same side following a 73-84 loss to Tema Youth in the first round.
That game was the final outing for Magic in the first half of the season and the reverse fixture is the team’s first outing in the second half.
However, Tema has been active since the round began on May 19 registering a 77-44 win over DC Dynamics on teh opening night at Tudu.
Still on firsts, the game will be Magic’s debut play in the league using a 24 second shot clock; the mechanism was introduced following the first round’s closure.
