Defending champs headline unbeaten group in Tema League

Reigning League Champions Coldstore[/caption]Reigning Tema Community Basketball League Champions Nungua Coldstore’s latest win over the weekend has extended the team’s winning run to four wins.

After beating rival Ashaiman Lions 55-48 in the headline Group A matchup,Coldstore is yet to lose a game this season and bumps the team’s record for the season to four wins in four games.

That aside, Nungua joins Ghana Navy, Ghana Police and Reformers of Prisons as the only sides yet to lose a game in the ongoing campaign.

Navy and Police, like Coldstore have played four games and won all but Reformers fall a game short having played three this season.

Heading into the last round of games, the list of unbeaten sides included Tema Heat and Ashaiman Lions. However, both teams lost on Sunday May 28 to Navy and Coldstore respectively.

Interestingly, with the exception of Ghana Navy, the remaining members of this elite group are in Group A.
