Braves (white) handled Navy with ease.

Fire Guard Carlyn Adjei attempts pass against Navy.
Fire Service (red) beat University of Ghana 36-32.
University of Ghana (UG) returns to action in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division with a set date against Ghana Navy.

The tertiary side will be in action on Thursday May 25 at the Lebanon House Court after missing out on three straight rounds due to “administrative” reasons.

The game will be played on the backdrop of the West African country’s recognition of the African Union Day celebrations.

However, there is little celebration for the either team as both sides are in dire need of a win to halt bad runs in recent outings.

For UG, beating Navy puts the side on track to annex maximum points should the team beat defending champions Braves of Customs in an another outstanding fixture; the fixture date is yet to be announced.

Navy on the other hand, has fallen to two straight losses including a 30-50 hammering at the hands of Braves.

Result from the game will directly affect happenings in the standings with Navy in fourth place while UG ranks bottom with nine points.
