Reformers of Prisons will play Ghana Police in a friendly game on Friday May 26 as the side continues preparations for the upcoming Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.
The team geared up for the crunch tie against Police with an 82-61 shellacking of Tema Heat in a friendly played at the Prisons Court earlier today.
The dominant performance by the home side punctuates its readiness for the Division when it tips off later this year.
As a result of administrative challenges, Prisons failed to register for the Division I in time and got demoted to Division II but have been active in recent weeks playing friendlies.
The side beat Tudu Magic 71-63 on May 19.
Prisons has also been involved in the Tema Community Basketball League picking up wins in all three games played in the league.
Police competes in the league and has won all three games as well. The team beat Teshie Rangers 61-31 in games played on May 14.
