Global Sporting Projects (GSP) Basketball League outfits LIR Royals and Suncity Braves will be engaged in a friendly game on Thursday May 25.
The game which is scheduled to tipoff at 19:00 GMT at the Eusbett Hotel Court in Sunyani, will have the teams renew their rivalry.
Both sides have been an ever present stay in the GSP League since the league’s inception in 2015 in Ghana’s Brong-Ahafo regional capital.
Braves finished second in the just ended season while LIR Royals completed the campaign in sixth place in the eight team roster.
The fixture is also the first fixture involving league sides since the 2016-2017 season ended in late April; University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) won the title following a 26-25 win over Braves on the final day.
For dethroned champions Braves, the game represents the chance to exact revenge on Royals following a shock 11-19 loss to Royals in the second round of the league.
Braves v Royals fixture will be played as Ghana joins other nations on the continent to celebrate Africa Union Day.
