University of Ghana is set to be engaged in outstanding in the upcoming weeks in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.
The tertiary side is scheduled to play Ghana Navy on Thursday May 25 at the Lebanon House Court at 17:00 GMT in the first of two games the side needs to clear.
The second outstanding game involves UG and defending champions Braves of Customs; the game scheduled to be played earlier this month but got postponed due to administrative challenges on UG.
Sitting bottom of the standings with three wins from six games and nine points, UG can move up sharply in the standings should it win both games.
The teams that lie immediately above UG, Navy and Fire Service in fourth and third respectively, can be usurped since their point build up (10 and 11) lie within UG’s range should the side make most of the opportunities.
A win is also needed to get the side in reckoning for a winning record this season.
