Tema Community 2 has scored the highest number of points in the ongoing Tema Community Basketball League thanks to an 81-43 win over Don Bosco Giants.
The Group B game was the first of two games played in the group and was part of four games that thrilled at the Tema Community 4 Court in the latest round of games.
Community 2 recorded the top mark for the season on the back of dead eye shooting from the three point line as the side scored a mind blowing 12 three point shots.
Shooting Guard Ebenezer Borsah recorded four of the those shots leading C2 to a 27-9 first quarter lead before Point Guard Jeffrey Djimatey, making his debut for the side, drained two three point shots to crown a huge 47-18 first half for C2.
In a game littered with several conversions from the three point arc as Bosco’s Fred Yambe and Samuel Anyah joined the party early in the third quarter.
However, Bosco’s improvement in the second half was not enough to reduce the huge lead.
