The second round of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I will commence today at the Lebanon House Court with Braves of Customs taking on Ghana Navy in the opening game at 18:00 GMT.
Division leaders Tema Youth will be in action in the opening round as the side plays DC Dynamics after the opener in the wee hours of the evening.
The second half of the 2017 season was originally scheduled to commence on May 17 but got pushed back by league officials with the new date set to host the two sides in the competition.
Tema and Braves occupy the top spots in the division respectively tied on 11 points but Tema checks out on top thanks to the 84-78 first round win over Braves.
Navy on the other hand, lost all six games played in the first round and faces a huge challenge to score its first win of the season against defending champions Braves.
For the first time this season, the 24 second shot clock will be used during games.
