Easily the hottest team in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division, Fire Service will be in the hunt to extend its winning run in the division when the side comes up against Tudu Galaxy later today at the Lebanon House Court.
The game will be preceded by Ghana Navy’s headline game against defending champions Braves of Customs at 17:00 GMT.
Despite its good form in the second round, Fire faces a daunting task to finish its campaign on a winning note as it comes up against the division leaders and home side.
Galaxy will be highly motivated going into the tie as a win will all but seal the team’s title win for what has been an exciting season.
Fire has improved on its shoddy performance from last season but a similar performance in the first round of this campaign means the side needs to beat Galaxy and avoid a losing record.
The side’s record for the season is three wins from seven games.
