After featuring in a very physical game against Community 2 in the Tema Community Basketball League Ghana Navy Male Basketball Team is set to play in an exhibition game and tip the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I second round off.
The team beat C2 42-33 on Sunday May 14 and will compete in the exhibition game against Tudu Magic on Wednesday May 17 then wrap up what has been a busy week with a tough game against defending ABL Champions Braves of Customs.
The exhibition will be played with a 24 second shot clock for the first time in the ABL in anticipation for the start of the league’s second round two days later.
In the opening game of the ABL second half, Navy will lineup against Braves a few weeks after the latter blew aside the former with a 72-48 win.
The Mariners are yet to win a game this season and need to pick up wins quickly to stand a chance of staying in the division.
