Reformers and Teshie Rangers played in the ABL Division I last year.
The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II start date is yet to be known but officials have communicated the period prospective teams can register.

The registration period begins May 22 and ends June 22 with interested teams eligible to register up to 25 players.

Officials communicated the announcement in the aftermath of a general meeting held recently at league venue Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Former Men’s Division I teams including Teshie Rangers and Reformers of Prisons are reported to be keen on registering for the league in order to attempt quick comebacks to the first division.

It must be noted, both teams mentioned above got relegated to the lower division after failing to register in time for the start of the Division I.

Word is still not out yet whether the 24 second shot clock will be used in the Division II when games finally return.

In the Division I second round which begins on Friday May 19, the clock will be used.
