The tie is the first of two Group A ties scheduled to be honored at the venue with Korle-Bu Kings tie against Teshie Rangers opening the round at 15:30 GMT.
Both sides are yet to lose a game in the ongoing campaign with Police beating Community 5 26-16 in the previous round while Lions got past the same opponent on April 30.
Police edges Ashaiman in the column since Lions crunch tie against defending champions Nungua Coldstore got postponed due to heavy rain. Police has played and won three games thus far in the season.
In Group B, AK Rifles take on Don Bosco Giants first before Ghana Navy squares off with Community 2 after the latter lost 42-48 in a pulsating game to Community 4 a week before.
