The second round of the playoffs continues to get exciting: on Tuesday Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz sizzled, while the Boston Celtics got their second postseason victory against the Washington Wizards.
Warriors take Game 1
The Golden State Warriors beat the Utah Jazz 106-94 in their first second-round game. Stephen Curry had 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Draymond Green had 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and Kevin Durant finished with 17 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Rudy Gobert had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz, Gordon Hayward and Rodney Hood combined for 24 with 12 points apiece, and Joe Johnson ended the game with 11 points and five rebounds.
Celtics go 2-0 up
The Boston Celtics have taken a 2-0 lead in their second-round series against the Washington Wizards after defeating them 129-119. Isaiah Thomas had 53 points, four rebounds and four assists, Al Horford had a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley combined for 28 with 14 points each.
The Wizards were led by John Wall with a 40-point, 13-assist double-double, Markieff Morris had 16 points and six rebounds, and Marcin Gortat finished with a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double.
