Korle-Bu Kings will be in action later today at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court when the side takes on Ghana Police in the opening round of games in the Tema Community Basketball League.
The Group A matchup sees the Kings who lost in the previous round to defending champions Nungua Coldstore, square off against the veteran side who beat Community 12 in last matchup. The game tips off at 15:30 GMT.
Last season’s beaten finalist Ashaiman Lions round up games in the Group with a duel against Community 5.
In Group B, Ghana Navy will be hoping to extend its winning run after getting a comfortable win over AK Rifles as they prepare to play Don Bosco Giants who have similar aspirations.
Bosco benefited from a walkover win after Adenta Leopards failure to turn up for a scheduled fixture in the previous round.
Tema Heat will be in the wars against host team Community 4. This is Heat’s first game since beating Rifles on April 9.
