Fort Wayne Mad Ants Forward Ben Bentil has touched base in Accra, Ghana as he prepares to host basketball camps in the capital city and Takoradi.

However, hours after checking into the country of his birth, Bentil was at the Aviation Social Center Court displaying some of the skill that earned him a ticket to the NBA.

The 6 foot 9 inch Power Forward played pickup games with players and dazzling fans gathered with fancy moves and dunks.

A press conference will be held today at 11:00 AM GMT at the University of Ghana Sports Directorate to brief the media on his itinerary during his time in the country.

The Takoradi leg of the camp will be held on Saturday April 29 at the Takoradi Technical University Court where skills and training sessions will be taught to young players.

A special All Star Game will also take place as part of activities to mark his return to his hometown Sekondi-Takoradi. Bentil was born and raised in the Twin city before moving to the US aged 15 and etching his name in the history books as the first Ghana-born player to play in the NBA.
