Fire Service (red) beat University of Ghana 36-32.
Galaxy (white) beat Braves in the opening round.

Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division leader Tudu Galaxy will be in the opening game of fixtures scheduled for Thursday April 27 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu when the side takes on University of Ghana (UG).

The round of games will also have defending champions Braves of Customs play Fire Service.

However, the opening game features the division’s top side against the bottom ranked side in the five team league.

On the back off four wins from five games, Galaxy sits pretty on top of the league with nine points ahead of last season’s winner Braves.

On the other hand, UG lies in last place in the standings having just a game in four matchups honored this season.

Braves matchup with Fire also has a similar theme to the above mentioned game since it features a side in the top half against a side in the bottom half.

For all its losses, Braves lie second in the standings with seven points while Fire has five points from winning just a game this season.
