Registration in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II is still taking place and open to teams yet to submit their names for the upcoming season.
Games in the division are yet to begin but teams are required to register their names prior to tipoff.
Reports gathered by Basketballghana.com indicate the league will start close to the closure of the regular season in the Division I.
Unlike last season which had just five teams competing for the chance to gain promotion to the elite division, this campaign is primed to have a lot more sides competing.
For starters, Teshie Rangers and Reformers of Prisons are keen on playing following their unceremonious exit from Division I despite avoiding relegation; both sides failed to register for the new season in time.
The likes of Ghana Police are also in on launching their D I ambitions as soon as possible. Last season’s champions Adenta Leopards are fifth in the seven team elite division winning two in five games.
