In the wake of profiting from a walkover win, Don Bosco Giants Coach Kwaku Sarpong has expressed his indifference over the manner of victory by stating “a win is a win”.
The young tactician made the statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com following Adenta Leopards failure to honour the tie against Bosco in the Tema Community Basketball League.
The Ashaiman-based side has since been awarded a 20 point win over Leopards to clinch its first win of the season.
“A win is a win. I mean I don’t mind how we got the win it is good we have our first win” he said.
He also went on to say his young side is undergoing restructuring and the best is yet to come from the Giants.
Bosco failed to qualify from the preliminary round of the league’s preseason tournament and lost 18-24 to Ashaiman Warriors in a previous league encounter. The side will be in action on April 30 against Ghana Navy.
