Tudu Galaxy leads the standings in the 2017 season of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division. Galaxy tops the five team league with nine points two ahead of defending champions Braves of Customs.

Galaxy’s push to the Women’s title has been aided by a strong start to the season after picking four wins and a loss in five outings including two straight wins over Braves this season.

Braves on the other hand, has been a shell of its dominant self as the side has just two wins from five games played this season. On its way to winning the 2016 title, Braves did not lose a game.

A win for Ghana Navy over bottom ranked University of Ghana (UG) would have been enough to top the standings. However, the tie was not honored due to rain.

The teams with the least number of wins, Fire Service and UG, occupy the bottom spot in the standings.
