DC Dynamics matchup against Braves of Customs in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I has been rained off.
The game which was set to be played at the Lebanon House in Tudu did not travel the entire duration due to rains that rendered the poor playing surface very slippery and dangerous to play on.
Ghana’s premier basketball league is susceptible to postponements like this due to the open courts used as venues. Such courts are at the mercy of the weather and the slightest rain on the court leads to the game getting called off.
The league schedule falls right in the middle of Ghana’s rainy season which usually starts in late May and ends in June.
However, the rains have set in early in the West African nation halting proceedings in the league.
It is the second straight Dynamics game that has been postponed after the side’s game against Fire Service failed to be honored due to renovation works at the venue.
