The Global Sporting Projects (GSP) Basketball League Management has come down hard on perpetrators behind poor behavior exhibited by some section of stakeholders in one of Ghana’s fast rising leagues.

Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints players Michael Nlasia and West Siders Club have been sanctioned the board in light of poor conduct during Week 13 games which took place at the Eusbett Hotel Court.

Nlasia has been slapped with a two game ban and a 30 Ghana Cedis fine for striking at a player during his side’s matchup with West Siders in Week 11.

GSP’s Technical Committee also issued a 60 Ghana Cedis fine on West Siders Basketball Club for walking off the court while a game involving the team was in progress.

These measures have been put in place to ensure games are played in a fair and incident free manner. The punishments were communicated through press releases to the parties involved.
