Accra Technical University (ATU) is ready to play against any team in the upcoming Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship quarterfinals according to Guard Gabriel Numarworse.
The quarterfinal pairings will be determined in a live balloting on April 2 during the live transmission of television basketball program “Courtside” on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports between 14:00 and 16:00 GMT.
Ahead of the draw, the sharp shooter who doubles as a player for Tudu Magic in the Accra Basketball League, stated his side is ready for any challenge.
“No for us we are ready for every team because we are trained to be ready for every team not just one team or these teams, we are ready for any team that comes our way, we will face them” he said before stating, “we are winning the trophy this year not two ways about it”.
ATU and seven other qualified teams including reigning champions University of Ghana (UG) will know their fate for the latter stages of Ghana’s most prestigious tertiary basketball competition on Sunday.
