Defending GSP Basketball League Champions Suncity Braves continue to lead the way in the standings with 20 points following a dominant 34-21 win over Dessert Rabbits in the last round of games played at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani.
Despite experiencing a tumultuous campaign this season, Sunyani Technical University (STU) earned its second win with a 20-16 win over fellow lowly ranked side LIR Royals.
Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints benefited from UENR’s postponed tie against Barracks Scorpions to move up to second place in the standings following a close 34-32 win over West Siders.
University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) could not honor its matchup against Scorpions and slipped to third in the process.
Scorpions on the other hand, ranks seventh on the back off a winless second half of the season.
