Accra Basketball League (Accra Basketball League) Men’s Division I debutants Adenta Leopards will be in action twice this week with tough matchups against Tema Youth and Braves of Customs.
Despite playing in the division for the first time, the young side has adapted to life seamlessly by winning all two games played so far in the league.
However, beating winless sides Ghana Navy and DC Dynamics is impressive; the side’s mettle will be tested in the upcoming matchups.
On Wednesday March 29, the side faces fellow unbeaten side Tema Youth at the Lebanon House Court at 17:00 GMT.
Tema is enjoying a great start to the 2017 season as it has won all games played including a note worthy 84-78 win over defending league champions Braves which ended a winning run that span over three years.
The schedule doesn’t ease up as Leopards take on Braves two days after playing Tema. While Braves lost to arch rivals Tema, it bounced back emphatically to thump Tudu Magic 67-42 in the next game.
Braves won last season’s Championship after beating Tema Youth 67-52.
