University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR)’s tie against Barracks Scorpions in the Global Sporting Projects (GSP) has been postponed.
The game which was the final fixture of the 11th Week round of matches failed to be honored following Barracks failure to show up for the game at the Eusbett Hotel Court in Sunyani.
This was a game thats pit a side in form against a side out of form as UENR has been on the rise since the league recommenced on March 4. After a wobbly start, UENR has been in good form in the second half of the season winning all three games played.
The pickup in form has coincided with a second place ranking in the standings.
However, since the league started after a lengthy break that dates back to November last year, Barracks Scorpions have been bad.
The side has lost all three games played so far and has tumbled to fifth in the standings prior to the last round of games played.
Games which were honored had Desert Rabbits lose 21-34 to Suncity Braves, Sunyani Technical University beat LIR Royals 20-16 and CUCG Saints beat West Siders 34-32.
