Tudu Galaxy has retaken the lead in the Women’s standings of the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL).

The side nudged defending champions Braves of Customs from the spot following a hard fought 31-30 win over Ghana Navy in the previous round.

Galaxy piped Navy to move up the standings having won its opening game against Braves.

However Braves has played a game fewer than Tudu; the side was not in action in the last round of games.

Fire Service 36-32 win over University of Ghana still isn’t enough to get the side up from the bottom spot in the standings.

Fire ranks last in the standings with three points from two games played same as Navy.

Navy takes fourth place in the standings courtesy a superior goal difference.

Below is a breakdown of teams standings in the league:

Fire Service (red) beat University of Ghana 36-32.
Galaxy (white) beat Braves Female Side.
