The second began with UG on top with a couple of treys but Adjei willed her side to a two point deficit (25-27) at the end of the third quarter by scoring six straight points.

Fire’s starting Guard did not let off showing why she was nominated for the Most Valuable Player Award last year with more impressive displays.

However, free throws in the final minutes decided the game’s outcome as Fire outshot UG to claim its first win of the season.

The second game live up to the level of the first as a low scoring first quarter turned out to be an end to end must see game.
