Brimah was honored.

University of Connecticut (UCONN) and Ghana Center Amida Brimah played his final game at College level following the UCONN’s exit from the NCAA American Athletic Champions Division.

UCONN lost 71-81 to University of Cincinnati in the semifinals of the competition.

Fourth year Center Brimah chipped in four points, eight rebounds, a steal and three blocks in 31 minutes also recording three turnovers in the process. He and fellow seniors Kentan Facey and Rodney Purvis graduate this year.

The loss ends the Huskies quest for a third National Championship since winning in 2011 and 2013 but its dreams got crushed by the Bearcats after getting past University of South Florida and Houston in the previous rounds.

Brimah is expected to join this year’s draft class looking featuring in the NBA.

The 6 foot 11 inch player is regarded as a defensive gem but prone to fouling and a weak factor on offense.

The loss also means none of Ghana’s NBA prospects will be in the running for the nation’s championship after Bashir Ahmed of St. John’s University and Ernest Aflakpui of Temple University had their teams exit in the earlier rounds.
