The Tema Community Basketball League preseason knockout stage begins later today at the Tema Community 4 Court with Nungua Coldstore taking on Tema Heat, Ashaiman Lions playing Community 2 and Adenta Leopards playing Ghana Navy.
The competition is christened the Campaign Tournament and is curtain raiser for the Tema League set to tip off later this month per reports reaching Basketballghana.com.
DC Dynamics play Tudu Magic in a battle between two Accra Basketball League (ABL) teams in a rematch that had Magic top Dynamics 59-46 mere hours ago at the CCYC Court in the ABL season opener.
The two sides coincidentally got drawn against the other in both leagues same as Ghana Navy and Leopards who are billed to square off in the ABL on Wednesday, March 15.
Having lost to Magic, this is a great chance for Dynamics to throw in a dose of revenge despite Coach Feranmi Olulonyo’s reservations about playing the same opponent twice in two days.
His worries will ease a bit since Magic will be a bit short on firepower this time around as Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw will swap his Magic jersey for an Ashaiman Lions strip.
