The 2017 UPAC Basketball Championship Zones A and D head into the final round of games with lots to play for as Marshalls University College and Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) battle it out for a spot in the next stage in Zone A.
Host and reigning Champions University of Ghana (UG) has less pressure to deal with as the side heads into its last game with maximum points.
On the other hand, its closest opponents, University of Professional Studies (UPSA) and Ho Technical University have won one game and lost one.
Both Marshalls and GTUC have two wins each after GTUC beat GIMPA 31-25 to set up the mouth watering clash. Only winner of the zone qualifies to the quarter finals which will be played on April 6 and 7.
UG beat Ho Technical 45-16
GIMPA and fellow winless side Regional Maritime University will play for pride in the zone’s other game.
UG plays UPSA next and Ho Technical University takes on Blue Crest University College.
