In light of Dallas Mavericks decision not to extend Ghana Forward Ben Bentil’s contract, the side has signed former Iowa University Forward Jarrod Uthoff since.
Basically, the Mavericks replace one Fort Wayne Mad Ants player with another as Bentil played for the side prior to signing a ten day contract with the NBA side.
Making the roster for four games, the Ghanaian international played in two games totaling little over seven minutes.
Bentil’s contract has not been renewed by Dallas and the 6 foot 9inch Forward confirmed he will return to the Development League which could be a return to former side Fort Wayne.
He averaged 14 points for the side in his first stint.
Like the Ghanaian, Uthoff is an undrafted rookie in the 2016 NBA Draft and has been in the NBA’s lower tier since. He has featured in 11 games for Fort Wayne and has featured for Raptors 905.
